Make identification easier

Have the boat year, make and model, plus the engine or equipment make and model. A serial number, existing part number or a clear label photo can help the team narrow the question.

If you do not know the part’s name, describe where it is fitted and what it does. Tell the team whether you are replacing something or adding a new feature.

Confirm the fit before the order

Parts that look alike are not always interchangeable. Discuss the exact application and any related components needed for the job. Confirm availability and price before making a trip or authorizing an order.

For an equipment upgrade, ask about the complete installation. Mounting, connections, controls and power requirements may introduce additional parts beyond the main item.
