Center console boats for Florida boating

ROOM TO FISH. ROOM FOR YOUR DAY.

A center-console layout gives you a useful place to start when fishing is a big part of your boat life. Explore how working space, seating and storage come together—and which balance fits your crew.

Walk the layout, not just the length.

The console’s central position leaves routes along both sides, but usable space varies from boat to boat. Walk from the bow to the cockpit. Picture someone at the helm, someone handling a rod and the rest of your crew settling in.

Look at the seats you will actually use underway, the shade over those seats and where bags and tackle belong. Length is one comparison point; the way the deck works may tell you more.

02

Compare two different brand stories.

Sea Fox’s Commander family is a starting point for comparing center-console fishing layouts with seating and everyday comforts. Its broader range also includes bay, dual-console and hybrid choices if your priorities lead in another direction.

Caymas offers center consoles alongside hybrid and catamaran families. Use the showroom to understand those differences before comparing a particular stock boat. Equipment and available configurations vary.

03

Bring your fishing routine aboard.

Where do your rods go while moving between spots? Which storage areas stay accessible with people seated? How will you use the livewell, tackle storage and helm electronics? These questions make a walk-through more valuable than a list of headline features.

For equipment upgrades, begin with the complete setup: compatibility, mounting space, power and future access for service. Discuss the exact boat and installed equipment with the team.

04

Think about the day after the day out.

Consider storage, trailering or dock access, cleaning and routine service. Ask about the boat and engine guidance that applies to your selected model.

Tell the Pinellas team your usual waters, crew and fishing plans. We can help you narrow the shortlist and arrange a closer look. A category name doesn’t establish a boat’s suitability for every destination or condition.

Start with a conversation.
